If you missed any meeting in November don't worry because you can find a recap of each meeting below along with what to expect in December.
November 3rd
The meeting stated with everyone presenting their group presentations from the previous week. Then we went through a presentation about Monroe's Motivated Sequences, which is a way to persuade and speak.Finally we went into break out rooms based on categories to start thinking of ideas.

November 10th
We looked through an Ethos, Logos, Pathos presentation to help with persuasion and speaking . We also looked thorough a persuasion tactics presentation. Then we went into break out rooms and worked on our pieces.

November 17
We started out by playing a quick game of concentration to work on our quick thinking . Then we listened to a presentation on the elements of a great delivery. Finally, everyone moved into a breakout room and worked on pieces

November 23
We started out by playing scattergories before thanksgiving break. Then we talked about the upcoming NSDA springboard tournament. We ended off by breaking out into breakout rooms, with friends, to talk abut our pieces and speeches and get feedback on what everyone has so far.

Our first speech deadline is December 1st
make sure you have a draft of your speech or have cut versions of your pieces ready for our meeting after thanksgiving.
NSDA Springboard tourney
December 5th is the NSDA Springboard tourney. It's geared towards returners and limited prep kids, but is open to everyone. Sign-Up's are due November 25th at 4 P.M.
Limited Prep
We're going to begin our limited prep practice days along with a congress interest meeting and practice congress, there will be more information on that soon.
Main Goals for December
We want to work on polishing our pieces and memorizing them, as well as working on presentation. We also want to begin working on our second category if you're interested in one.
