December Meeting Recaps!!!

December 1st
We started off the meeting by playing a 1 word special occasions game. Then we moved into break out rooms and practicing our pieces with others, while receiving constructive criticism.
December 2nd
We didn't have a forensics meeting, but we did have a congress informational meeting. If you're interested in congress check out the slideshow below.
December 8th
We started out in breakout rooms to practice our pieces. We went over the online tourney info slides. Then we broke out into limited prep category break out rooms for people who were interested. People who only wanted to stick to non-limited prep categories went into a break out room to work on their pieces. If you're interested in doing any limited prep category, check out the presentation below for more information as well as the how-to folder in the speech team drive.

December 15th
We began by moving into seperate break out rooms broken up by category interest. We had piece work time for non-limited prep categories, while limited prep folks had a practice day.
Radio
For a practice radio script look in the speech team folder ➡ forensics pieces/how to ➡ how to indiv. categories ➡ radio. Then click on the radio practice script doc.
For practice packets follow the steps above and click on the mock tourney radio packets folder
Extemp
For everything extemp click on the speech drive folder ➡ congress and extemp ➡ extemp. This will take you to all the practice news articles, how-to's and tips.
Impromptu
To find some fun impromptu prompts go to the speech drive folder ➡ forensics pieces/how to's ➡ how to indiv. cat. ➡ impromptu. Then click on the impromptu prompts doc.
Congress
To find congress bills and how to's go to the speech drive ➡ congress and extemp ➡ congress. Then click on whatever folder describes what you are looking for.
December 22nd
We had a stations day to wind down before the break. We did tongue twisters, the emotions game, imitation, and distraction stations to work on our enunciation and delivery skills,
Upcoming/Reminders
Our winter break mock tourney
We are having an asynchronous mock tourney so make sure to send in a video of your piece(s) to the forensics leadership email or in the video submission folder in the speech drive.
Meetings with leadership
Everyone is required to have at least one meeting with a leader per piece they want to perform before they can compete. To sign up look for available slots in the spreadsheet below.
